Is so hot here, it's like 97 today. Yes I'm back in Clarksville. Though I must say Seattle was great. It was a lot of work and then I took two tests when got back. But all is well I have a four day weekend for the 4th. Starting this afternoon. I have ten tomatoes growing which is great. The largest of which has started to turn a bit Yellow so I'm crossing my fingers that I'll get some red on the that tomato. I had to steak up the plants with knitting needles and yarn, its all I had around. Frankie is happy to have us home. We're happy to have him back. I have lots of time on my hands this weekend I hope to get pictures of my sweater up, the tomatoes and maybe a few a budgie. Today was a good day so I hope everyone eles has a good day too.

Seattle
So here I am in Seattle. We're taking a few days in June to see our families and relax. Unforntuanly with skool I have to do stuff like homework whil I'm gone.
An update about school. Yes I started four day late but I managed to catch up it was a lot more work than I want to but in. I have two classes and two labs that run from 8-5 with an hour for lunch monday through thursday. Friday I just have one class and one lab. I've already had three tests. I two more when I return to Clarksville. I've done some fun and interesting things so far. In Hemeotolgy I drew blood for my first time and I didn't hurt anyone. I also had my blood taken. I have great veins which is good to learn on, plus I'm ok with needles. Other than spending hours trying not to fall asleep on a daily bases skool (invader zim) is very good. The AC is rather chilli in the building so it's quite cold inside and very hot outside. I hate the weather. Well Any way here we are in Seattle. Will update the pictures when we return promise. -caw

Cooties
not the kind found on your head, but the kind found under mircoscopes on slides and living in you. yes I said in you. I went to my first class today and it was soooooooooooooo cool. yeah I'm excited. deal with it. you try waiting tables with a bunch of people who have trouble with chevre milan, a sandwich we sell, its gat cheese people. not that i;m a huge fan or anything but you should understand how to say it if you want to sell it. have my first test soon too. i'v been up since around 4;30ish thanks to a small bird outside that sound a bit like my cell phone beeping, and then i was too excited to sleep. so I need a nap.

86% Humminty?
Huh? is this possiable with out rain. They say we're going to get said thunderstroms but they have not come yet. UHG!!!! At least my tomatoes are very happy. My hair isn't, I've just puffed up into a ball of nasty frizz. Thank God for AC. Well I'm off to work again this monday morning, there was a fire in the vent system which I don' know any details about yet, but I'll let you know afer work. My Neighbor was there for dinner saturday night right after it happened. The AC was frozen and I think that's what caused it. Well we'll see won't we. I got some nice outdoor chairs so now I can sit out in the freaking hot. It's in the shade aleast. Had a rather uneventful weekend, Dinner with the Fords on Saturday night and grilled cheese on Friday night. Ross was stilll feeling the 3hours of sleep in 48 from the Best Cav compittion. He had his foot rolled over at PT on friday too and it was all puffy, so we forwent any real outdoor activity. Got myself an Iced tea maker to top off a really thrilling weekend. Well off to work. Check back latter for all the dirt on the fire.

Morons and Idoits
Have you ever thought, mmmmm I work with a bunch of MORONS. I think this every day, ever single day that I wake up and go to work. Well they aren't all morons in fact quite a few are great, but just a small number can spoil the whole bunch.
Ok that's enough.

Roll on Columbia Roll on......
Ok so the Red river is not the Columbia, and it really doesn't even roll is kinda putzes along, but floating down it fun and you don't run the same risks as the mighty Columbia. So on Sunday we packed up the car and got a bag of ice for a nice, 5 hour float down the river. It was great. We saw tons of turtles, a snake and a vulutre. Only a few aplances in the river and no cars. Though I must say I was pooped at the end. It was a great way to spend a weekend.
Speaking of weekends, Mike came up from Alambama for the long weekend which was fun. He got a brand new Honda Element, black. We hung around and watche a lot of real bad movies. He Floated down the river with us. He should be getting his airframe soon and he also has to pick is new duty station. Eh, in all it was a good time.
Thursday, last thursday I spent the morning watching around 2800 folk all dressed in the new ACU's, yeah it was the division review. It was long and toasty and very cool. If you stuck it out for the full 2 hours you got to see a fly over of the four major airframes, and the towed artillery pieces. I took Four rolls of pictures. I'll get them on disk don't worry. Ok well Alton Brown is on and I should watch.

..a long time ago.......
We all know the rest don't we, at least the Star Wars fans out there do. Yep we went and saw the third star wars, and it was fabulous. It all comes full circle in a great display of light sabers and a younger more equiped R2D2. With my coke slushie and box of raisinette, which where half gone by the first scene, we enjoyed the whole movie. There are some seriously graphic scene, with burning flesh and such but they are done nicely, if you can do that sort of thing nicely. Bad acting is good acting here and sunsets from your childhood movie going memory apear on the screen in the form of two suns setting over the sandunes. It's like watching old family movies and finding out the secrets that until now have gone unspoken. Do go see it if your a fan.

send in the clones
To quote a Simpsons tree house of horor, Ross played a softball game last night. Yeah, called after 2 innings because the score was 23 to 1, them. It was the air force softball team, with matching uniforms, you must say that kinda snotty. Yeah that thought they were special with those uniforms, but we all know the truth, CLONES. A military plot to create overly good softball players to send to the olympics. Ok so they were good, but their pitcher had trouble, just a little. It was the matching uniforms and hats. Enough about the air force and their matching uniforms.
Just another day at work today, cross your fingers that nothing strange happens. Yesterrday way a big day with lots of people and only a few snotty ones. Josh takes over as manger today while Mettie goes to the other side of the pond for two weeks. Terri's got the day off. We'll see if the bathroom stinks today and if it does, I'm not going to mop, the smell it to much to get the cleaning closet. It almost made me puck yesterday, soooo close. YUCK. Weather is good and so Im going to walk, need the exercise because I didn't do it this morning. Well off to get ready for the day.

Strange and interesing things
Hey, well another day and nothing much to talk about. Currently on a new job hunt to find a place that's more interesting and more clean. All that microbiology has made me want clean things but then again I don't really get paid enough to care. I was accepted to Austin Peay State University on friday which is good. It wasn't like I wasn't going to get in but it does feel good to be accepted. I won't start until next june though because of the way the program works. Oh well that gives me a whole year to make money and pay for school and get a new computer. Other nifty things. Ross and I went to the customs museum in Clarksville. It was very nice. Ned, who is the executive director comes in for lunch every day at the restaurant. We got to meet the resident reptile, named tiggie, she lives in the museum store and comes out now and then to greet people. MMMMM what eles. Finished the back side of the sweater for my knitting class and finished the felted tote that I was making, it turned out great, check out the before and after pictures. Well not much eles happening around these parts so check back latter.

Thunder storm
This is what a digital picture looks like when you take it durning a massive thunder storm. I didn't do anything to the camera and I did not alter it after it was taken. The charge in the air did this. nifty.
Purse after
...see the fibers have felted togeather and it's all tight. I put a snap in it and tada, a purse was born.
Before purse
This is what my purse looked like when I finished it. Then I put it in the washer and.....

BASEBALL
Ok so it was actually SOFTBALL but it was fun to watch my husband play. Lots of good fun killing the other team, 17 to 2. There will be another game tomorrow, but how we will work out getting there will be another story. I had to pull out all the sock that I knitted and start again this afternoon because I found an extra stich then I couldn't get the stiches back on the needle so there it all went. That's ok I decides because the stiches were a little bit to loose compaired to the other sock. And I love to knit the socks and I get to do it all over again. Work was work. Slowish and not too bad. I made enough to cover my day. We are highering a bunch more people and I wonder what that will bring. Well other than getting my new Cook's Illustrated and making very good pizza, that I got to use my fresh grown basil on my day was a day.
Good night

Knitting Crazy
Yeah, ok so this is my second blog of the day but hell it's monday. So work was all crazy like but you know as i sat there on the can thinking, can I really freaking work this damn job for another year, i thought maybe, just maybe. I don't know if I can really do it. Can I work here in this place that drives me crazy and causes me to smell of an unknown food by-product, the answer is no. I have a degree and i have pretty clothes. EnOUgh!!!! Ok So I went to the country quilters tonight for the sit and knit. Patty helps people who need it and we all sit and chat it's very fun, zen like. I'm signing up for a class which will cost me a big price in yarn but hell it's worth it , to make my first sweater. I'm truely excited. I think I really like Clarksville more than I ever though I would. Ok Talk to you all latter. Promise to get some photo's of my projects up.
Monday Morning
Good Morning, so another weekend has come and gone and well I've learned one thing, Sideways was a strange movie. Good yes, but I see why it was not best picture. We rented it and watched it but it was ot what I thought, and I learned nothing about wine that I already didn't know. I did learn that the saba is a very durable car though. Oh well, it was something to watch, which was not your standard armerican happy ending movie. I haven't seen million dollar baby but i have a feeling that it shouldn't have won either. Enough about movies. I finished my first sock this last week. I have to say that my Kitchner stich has a ways to go before I can be a master knitter, maybe one day. But it's a sock and it fits perfectly. I'm going to sign up for a sock class at the quilting place so I can learn a few other things first. I've started the second sock just in time for the warm weather to set in. Hell if I start my sweaers now I'll be ready for the winter, and begin the summers in winter i'll be set. Ok Well I have to go to work soon, should have some sock photo's posted.
